Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has mocked the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) and its agenda.
Through his sarcastic tweet this Saturday, the Jubilee politicians poked holes at the BBI meeting in Kakamega.
While leaders aligned to the BBI side are selling its unity agenda to Kenyans, Murkomen says BBI wants to use power and force to peach peace in the country.
According to the Majority Leader to the Senate, BBI is killing the democracy the country has been enjoying, including dealing ruthlessly with those who might consider opposing it.
” Fellow Kenyans, BBI is the only way to end violence&politics of exclusion. We must create a nation of only one democratic idea. We’re uniting this country by force. We’ve deployed our officers to ensure that no other idea thrives, Only BBI. Anyone defying will be dealt with ruthlessly, ” the senator said.
Today heavy security officers were witnessed both in Kakamega and Mumias towns, after leaders opposed to the BBI debate meeting had planned to hold a parallel meeting in Mumias town.
