President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally called for a Jubilee members of parliament meeting at statehouse on Monday May 12th. The Jubilee parliamentarians meeting has been confirmed by Jubilee party vice chairperson David Murathe. Sources have indicated that Kieleweke members of Jubilee have received the invitation but Tanga tanga members have been left out.
“UHURU CALLS Jubilee MPs for a Parliamentary Group Meeting at State House, Nairobi tomorrow, party vice chairman David Murathe confirms,” shared Nation Breaking News on twitter.
Such a meeting had been anticipated to happen soon following the current wrangles between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto. No details have been disclosed yet about the agenda of the meeting. However, former statehouse Digital Director Dennis Ole Itumbi has come out to reveal why president Uhuru has called for that meeting. According to Itumbi, president Uhuru is setting up a stage for the ouster of Kipchumba Murkomen as the senate majority leader and be replaced by Senator Gideon Moi. It is also a strategic meeting to cement the power of Gideon Moi in preparation for 2022.
“Tomorrow’s PG @Statehouse Kenya is the beginning of a Journey to hand over Power to @MoiGideon – It starts by an illegal attempt to make him Majority Leader – Why are Independent MPs like Charles Kibiru invited to a Jubilee Meeting? #DynastyHandOverBegins #HustlerNation,” revealed Dennis Itumbi on twitter.
This comes on the same day when Prof. Makau Mutua wrote an article in the daily nation asking the President to axe Kipchumba Murkomen. He also challenged the president to either impeach or charge deputy president William Ruto. Prof. Makau in his article noted that the country cannot have two centres of power and hence DP Ruto needs to be tamed.
