Happiness as DP Ruto is Welcomed by Top Government & Kisii Officials For Mashujaa Day – Photos

Deputy president William Ruto joined president Uhuru Kenyatta and other dignitaries in marking the Mashujaa day celebrations in Kisii county. Accompanied by his wife Rachel Ruto, the deputy president landed in Kisii high school aboard his personal chopper and was received by top government officials including military personnel. Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi was among the top state officials that welcomed deputy president William Ruto in Kisii county.

Taking to social media, Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi expressed his excitement for having been given the honor of welcoming the country’s second in command in their Kisii county.

“This morning, I was humbled to receive Deputy President Dr. William Ruto and H.E. Rachael Ruto, they are in Kisii for the Mashujaa Day National Celebrations that will be graced by The President of the Republic of Kenya H.E Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta at Gusii Stadium. #HappyMashujaaDay,” shared Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi on Facebook.

Kisii county deputy governor is among the stonge supporters of deputy president William Ruto in the Gusii region. He has been teaming up with Sylvanus Osoro and other Ruto allies in the region in preaching the hustler gospel in the Kisii. He has been hosted previously by deputy president William Ruto in his Karen residence alongside other tangatanga politicians from Kisii and Nyamira region.

He shared pictures on Facebook that left supporters of deputy president William Ruto impressed. This was particularly so because of the perceived bad blood between the deputy president and the upcoming Gusii land kingpin Dr Fred Matiangi, the Interior cabinet secretary.

Here are some of the reactions on Facebook.
